A blocked gutter does not announce itself until it overflows, and by then the water is going somewhere you would not have chosen: down the fascia, behind the siding, into the basement, or straight onto the paver patio you just paid for. Clearing them is one of the cheapest jobs on a house. Everything downstream of not clearing them is not.
We clear the debris out of the gutter runs by hand, flush the runs and the downspouts through with water, check that it is actually coming out at the bottom, and bag and take away what comes out.

What to expect
How a gutter clean goes
No mystery and no surprises — here is the order the work actually happens in.
Walk the property
We look at the roofline, where the downspouts are, and where the water is supposed to end up, before anything starts.
Clear by hand
Debris comes out of the runs by hand and straight into a bag rather than over the side onto the beds below.
Flush the runs
Runs are flushed through with water, which carries out the fine grit and shingle wash that a scoop always leaves behind.
Clear the downspouts
A gutter can be spotless and still overflow if the downspout is packed. Each one gets checked and cleared.
Test the flow
Water goes through the whole system and we watch where it comes out — and where it goes once it does.
Report and clean up
You get told what we found and what we would keep an eye on. The debris leaves with us.

Gutter Cleaning FAQ
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year is a reasonable default in this area: once after the leaves are down in the fall, and once in spring after seed and blossom drop. A house under heavy tree cover will want more than that; a house with almost nothing overhanging it may want less.
Do you repair gutters as well as clean them?
Clearing and flushing is the service. If we find loose hangers, a separated seam, or a downspout discharging straight against the foundation, we will show you and explain what it is doing — we are not going to quietly leave it and say nothing.
Why does this matter for my patio or driveway?
Because a gutter overflowing onto a paver surface is one of the most common reasons that surface settles. Concentrated water washes the fines out of the base underneath and the pavers follow the base down. Fixing the gutter is often the cheapest half of a paver repair.
Do you clean gutters in winter?
Call and ask. Ice changes what is safe and what is sensible, and the honest answer depends on the property and the conditions that week.
